Dear Parents,

I hope all of you are well and that you had the chance to enjoy the holiday weekend on some level. I know at my house it was very different not having all of the kids and grandkids over, but we made it work and FaceTime is getting used much more than it used to.

We are finishing up another period of remote lessons and work. On Wednesday, April 15, from 3pm to 7pm we will have an opportunity for you to drop off completed work and pick up new assignments. For many of your kids, the lessons are available through some online format and the pick-up/ drop off is not necessary. Check with your students and teachers for specifics.

At this point, we do not have a definitive answer from Gov. Pritzker for the remainder of the year. I will certainly pass along information as soon as we know. IF we do not return to the buildings, we will make arrangements for you to get any personal items which are still here (tentatively on May 1st). I have also been asked about some of the field trips which were scheduled. At this point they have all been cancelled. For the trips where there have been fees already paid, we are working on a list of the monies owed and will let you know soon how refunds will be issued.

Sincerely,

 M. Stines
