ALL Remote. E-Learning Update
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your flexibility and patience as we get the school year started. The change in direction to full remote was a surprise to us last Friday, and we are all in this together with how fast life can change during a pandemic. We have laid out plans so that everything is ready to go on Monday, August 17th, our first day of school for kids. Here is a list of important information for you as we jump into the full remote world.
Thursday, August 13th – Pick up materials and Chromebooks
Illini from 4pm-8pm in the multipurpose room
Grant from 5pm to 8pm in the gym.
If you brought in school supplies, you can pick them up as well. This is your choice. They can also remain in the class for when we return.
Check Your Email Regularly
Teachers will be sending you information for logging into the system, completing assignments, and other important information.
District E-Learning / Remote Learning Plan
On the website www.dist110.com to view an updated remote learning plan. It gives guidance for expectations during remote learning.
ATTENDANCE and LUNCH
During remote learning, you must log in to the system and have attendance recorded. Illini will begin at 9am. Grant will begin at 8am. Please be logged in and have lunch submitted by this time.
If you want to purchase breakfast/ lunch or qualify for the benefit, you will need to email your teacher directly to submit your lunch count. Breakfast/ Lunch will be available for curbside pick-up at Grant Middle School, from 11am to 12pm each day.
