Dear Parents,

What unprecedented times we are going through right now! Information on the COVID situation in our country is changing rapidly. I want to thank all of you for your understanding, patience, willingness to volunteer, and for some great questions to get clarification.

There will be no school beginning tomorrow, March 16 and we will be closed through Monday, March 30. As of now we plan on students returning on Tuesday, March 31.

Tomorrow night, March 16, the buildings will be open from 3-7pm. During this time you can pick up any personal items your child may have here and get resources from teachers. The lessons staff are preparing are varied between online formats and hard copy assignments. Teachers will also provide you with additional resources and expectations for the next two weeks. Most important, this will be a great time to have your questions answered.

We are currently working with the HS district to provide meals while school is closed. I have a meeting with the HS and other elementary districts tomorrow morning to finalize plans. I will share details as soon as I have them and certainly hope to have information for everyone tomorrow night. When you are here tomorrow, PLEASE fill out the lunch survey sheet which will be at both buildings. It will be extremely helpful for us to have a sense of numbers to prepare and where students will be during the closure.
