Illini would like to welcome our new assistant principal Allison Lauer. Mrs. Lauer was a 5th grade teacher in O'Fallon, IL for 11 years before completing her Masters in Educational Administration and Leadership from McKendree. Mrs. Lauer lives in Freeburg, IL with her husband Kyle and their two children Mason and Paige. In her free time she likes to watch Mason play baseball and Paige cheer. She also loves to read and travel. Welcome to Illini.

Parents/ Guardians, On the way home, Bus 4 on the Illini route had a minor accident. There are NO INJURIES. The bus company is sending a replacement bus to finish the route. We expect that the route will be 25-30 behind schedule. MS

Illini's Skating Party was a huge success! Thanks to our fabulous PTO for throwing an amazing fundraiser. The parents, teachers and students had a blast! Congratulations to Mrs. Heidelberg's class for having the most students in attendance. The VIP Pizza Party was an amazing surprise!

Illini Elementary would like to welcome Mr. Forrest Hunter to our staff. Mr. Hunter is teaching RTI this year, where he is excited to provide math support and interventions to students. He went to Covenant College in north Georgia where he met his lovely wife Kaitlyn. They have two wonderful children. This is Mr. Hunter's 8 year in education. He previously taught 4th and 5th grade. Welcome Mr. Hunter. We are so glad you are apart of our Illini family.
