We are so proud of our GOTR Team! This year, we had 30 girls (including one junior coach), and 11 coaches! Our volunteers consisted of Dist #110 staff, parents, and two police officers. Each year, the GOTR teams have an opportunity to complete one community service project. The girls wanted to make thank you cards and buy donuts for the Fairview Heights Police Department. They even bought tennis balls for our K-9 friend, Officer River! We couldn't have completed another successful year without all of the support from our Dist #110 family and the Fairview Heights community. We would like to say, "Thank You!" to the Fairview Heights Police Department and Chief Steven Johnson, Mayor Mark Kupsky, GOTR Coordinators: Cyndi Witt and Shelby Kuhl, our PTO, all of the amazing coaches, supportive parents, and dedicated students! See you next year! "Girls on the Run is SO Much Fun! #GOTR

Congratulations to these Illini Elementary School students who qualified to apply for the National Math Stars program by scoring in the 98th/99th percentile on their Spring Aimsweb assessment. This program invests over $100,000 per student through resources such as advanced math courses, weekly math mentoring, and STEM summer experiences. Way to go!

The third grade students are completing a unit on a story called Aero and Officer Mike. Our very own SRO, Officer Stitt, read the story to all of the third grade students. Then, he shared information about our Fairview Heights Police Department and our very own police dog, Officer River. This was such a great experience! Thank you, Officer Stitt, for taking time to read to our students! -Mrs. Domescik, Mrs. Heidelberg, and Mrs. Zirkelbach

I spent part of the day with our 6th graders at Land for Learning. It was hot, the lake was beyond low but still had a great experience getting dirty creating river eco systems and canoeing while I was with them. Thanks to Ms. Meyenburg and all the parent chaperones. It was a great day...The Grant Way! Mr. Horrighs
